Splashed White 2 (SW2) is found in Quarter Horses and can present as "normal" to "typical splashed white" markings.

Splashed White 3 (SW3) is found in Quarter Horses and may result in a typical splashed white coat color.

Splashed White 3 (SW3) is found in Appaloosas, and may result in a broad blaze and partially blue eyes.

Splashed White 5 (SW5) is found in Quarter and Paint Horses, and may result in bald/white face and two blue eyes, often white socks with body markings and potentially deafness.

Splashed White 6 (SW6) is found in Quarter and Paint Horses and may result in a bald white face, blue eyes, white socks, body markings, and potentially deafness.

Splashed White 7 (SW7) is found in Quarter and Paint horses and presents as a bald/white face, two blue eyes, often white socks with body markings and has a high incidence of deafness in heterozygous horses. Homozygous phenotype not described.

Splashed White 9 (SW9) / Giltor is found in Pura Raza Espanola horses and results in white markings that give the horse the appearance of being dipped in paint with the edges of the white often sharp.

Tobiano (TO) is characterized by large, white patches on the limbs and body. These patches frequently have smooth edges, cross over the topline, and are accompanied by dark eyes. Expression can range from white present only on the legs, to horses nearly completely white.
